BIOS Setup for a Bitperfect Audio PC for Lossless Music

This should be done before installing the operating system so that no necessary components are disabled, and no unnecessary drivers installed (note, that not all versions of BIOS may allow settings listed below).

• Most important: Disable all onboard sound-devices
  
  
• Disable all COM/LPT-ports as well as the WLAN-module (unless you do not need it)
  
  
• Disable "Power-Savings" and CPU "Speed Step" features
  
  
• Use USB2.0 (minimum)
  
  
• Disable "Intel Virtualization Technology" as well as "C-State"
